Aufgaben

Strategic and operational management of a 5 member-team for gardening products - Mechanical components - Raw material
Continuous review and management of all relevant processes with regard to supply chain
Optimization and efficiency
Creating and developing a successful supplier strategy including identification and development of new suppliers
Identification and realization of efficiencies and cost reduction potentials.
Conducting annual price negotiations and negotiating framework agreements
Analyzing the market situation, identifying trends and deriving options for action
Supporting and developing your own team in day-to-day operations and standardizing internal processes and procedures
Monitor measurable KPI's to track supplier performance
Defining and managing national and international purchasing projects
Serve as a team member of new product projects, collaborating closely with project management and R&D, negotiating contracts & prices, and ensuring supplier goals for delivery, cost, and quality are met.
Ongoing monitoring and support of our suppliers in terms of environmental, social and governance

Profil

Successfully completed studies with a focus on industrial engineering, business administration, logistics, or comparable focus areas, ideally supplemented by specialized further training
Several years of extensive professional experience in purchasing, both nationally and internationally
First experiences in disciplinary management in national and international teams
Expertise in strategic and operational collaboration with suppliers and partners in Asia and Eastern Europe
Social skills, team-orientation, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness
Inspiring colleagues and the whole team to achieve ambitious results with passion, optimism, respect and self confidence
Strong negotiating and communication skills
Goal- and results-orientated way of working and the ability to think analytically in business terms
Experience in lean management is an advantage
Business fluent in German and English
Willingness to travel
