Phorms Campus Hamburg
locationHamburg, Deutschland
Bildungswesen und Training

There are currently around 700 children and young people learning and playing at our modern Phorms Campus Hamburg with Nursery, Primary and Secondary including Upper Secondary School with Abitur. Our concept is based on bilingual education using the immersion method, multilingualism through language-sensitive teaching, as well as personalised learning. Our competent and engaged pedagogical team appreciates the school’s family-like atmosphere as well as the very central and convenient location and the innovative equipment. The special characteristic of our campus is the internationality and multilingualism of the entire school community – in its diversity it’s a reflection of Hamburg.
Phorms Hamburg is part of the Phorms Education SE network of bilingual schools and nurseries, which has been enriching the educational landscape in Germany since 2006.

For our Secondary School in Hamburg we are looking for a

Computer Science Teacher (ICT)

(part-time or full-time)

at the beginning of the school year 2026/2027.

Our Benefits

With us, you show that computer science is about creativity and curiosity, not just code. In Hamburg, a city that embraces diversity and vitality, you will become part of an international school community that applies knowledge, networks ideas and remains curious.

  • Attractive salary with additional benefits such as lunch allowance, monthly public transport ticket or Edenred City Card, company pension scheme and access to a Corporate Benefits Portal
  • 5 child sick days per year, paid in full by the employer
  • Staff discount for enrolling your child/children at Phorms
  • Relocation allowance and support securing residency and work permits
  • Professional development opportunities
  • State-of-the-art educational resources including the latest technology in all classrooms and specialized cabinets (e.g. smart-boards, laptop classes, in-house IT support, school library)
  • Small classes which enable differentiation and individual support
  • Innovative technologies and pedagogy to implement our curriculum
  • Short internal administrative processes: uncomplicated purchasing and reimbursement of expenses
  • Great onboarding and Buddy-system

Your Responsibilities

  • You will design vivid and competence-oriented Computer Science lessons based on the curriculum, with room for logical thinking, creativity and individual learning paths
  • You will regularly reflect on learning processes and make targeted use of modern pedagogical approaches to inspire students to take an interest in computer science and problem solving
  • You actively contribute new ideas and concepts, make meaningful use of digital media and continuously develop your teaching methods
  • You support students and parents with openness, empathy and an eye for individual strengths and challenges
  • You see further education and training as an opportunity to develop your professional and pedagogical skills and to bring new ideas to the teaching staff

Your Profile

  • Certified training as a Secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience working in a Secondary school setting, ideally with teaching and lesson planning experience
  • English at C2 level and ideally a good command of German for everyday use
  • Interest and willingness to engage in the development of new educational concepts
  • Passion for your subject and the ability to inspire your students to enjoy it too
